Drying Technology
Recently, the Shincci Jinjiang Sludge Disposal Project in Fujian has been put into stable operation. This is Fujian’s first demonstration project for comprehensive sludge incineration and disposal, the facility covers a total land area of approximately 29,000 square meters. Adopting the core“sludge drying + incineration”disposal process, the project uses waste heat from incineration for heat supply and power generation. It meets the requirements for sludge reduction, harmless treatment and resource recovery, realizes resource recycling, and supports the local construction of a zero-waste city.

Project Overview: Provincial Demonstration Project with 700-Ton Daily Sludge Treatment Capacity
The project is equipped with 7 sets of Shincci integrated waste-heat belt dryers (Model SHS50000WH), paired with 14 high-pressure belt filter presses to build an automated production line for deep sludge dewatering and drying, delivering a daily sludge treatment capacity of 700 tons.
Sludge with a moisture content of 68%–72% is treated by the low-temperature drying system, with its moisture content stably reduced to 30%–40%, achieving substantial volume reduction.

Process Route: High-Pressure Belt Filter Press + Low-Temperature Drying for Deep Volume Reduction
The whole system operates in a fully closed loop to prevent secondary pollution at the source. After incoming sludge is stored hermetically in wet silos, it is conveyed to the high-pressure belt filter press workshop on the third floor for pre-treatment via deep dewatering. Then transported hermetically by screw conveyors to the low-temperature drying workshop on the second floor.

After shredding and strip forming, sludge is spread evenly on the mesh belt and dried in a low-temperature environment below 80℃ for 70–90 minutes. The dried sludge is discharged through multi-stage screw conveyors and scraper conveyors into silos, and co-incinerated with shoe and garment trimmings to realize harmless disposal and resource utilization of solid waste.
Energy Conservation & Environmental Protection: Waste Heat Recycling with Strict Pollutant Emission Control
The project uses steam heat pumps to fully utilize on-site steam resources, converting steam into 90℃ hot water to supply heat for drying equipment, cutting energy consumption and operating costs.
Shincci’s equipment adopts the low-temperature hot air drying process, which fully preserves organic matter in sludge and maintains the calorific value of dried sludge, improving energy recovery efficiency. The equipment adopts a fully sealed drying structure, prevents odor leakage and collects dust for centralized treatment to eliminate dust risks. All environmental indicators remain stably compliant in long-term operation.

The successful implementation of the Jinjiang project fully demonstrates the robust performance of Shincci low-temperature sludge drying equipment in large-scale municipal sludge projects. In the future, Shincci will continue to focus on technological R&D and engineering application, provide standardized equipment solutions for sludge resource recovery, and build more regional benchmarks for solid waste treatment.
