Drying Technology
Walking into the site of SHINCCI's grain drying project in Shulan, Jilin Province, the air is filled with the roar of machinery as golden paddy is continuously fed into the drying equipment. Under the orderly operation of the staff, golden grains pour down and flow into the discharge port. Through a series of automated processes including impurity removal and drying, the facility easily achieves "wet grain in, dry grain out."

Machines Running at Full Speed, Seizing the Golden Window for Drying
As the grain drying base enters its peak production season, the project's four 30-ton partition-type particle flow dryers are running at full capacity, completing two drying batches per day and handling up to 240 tons of paddy per day.

Newly harvested paddy has a high moisture content and is highly prone to mildew if not dried in time, which would affect rice quality and returns. To seize the golden drying window, the SHINCCI engineering team completed equipment maintenance in advance and added more operating personnel to ensure 24-hour uninterrupted production at the base, fully relieving customers of the pressure of handling new grain.
45°C Low-Temperature Drying Preserves Rice Quality
The project adopts hot-water indirect heat transfer low-temperature drying technology, using a 45°C low temperature to simulate natural sun-drying. The gentle and uniform drying process effectively reduces grain cracking, breakage, color deterioration, and nutrient loss, preserving the original appearance and nutrition of the paddy to the greatest extent. After drying, the grains are plump and uniform with stable quality, and the moisture content meets storage standards—the dried grain can go directly into storage or enter the processing stage.

The on-site manager stated that compared with traditional sun-drying methods, modern drying equipment not only greatly reduces grain loss and waste but also saves space and labor, and to a certain extent solves problems faced by large-scale grain growers such as "difficulty in drying grain," "difficulty in storage," and delays in bringing new grain to market with lagging returns.
Integrated System Meets High-End Rice Processing Needs
Shulan is known as the "Hometown of China's Ecological Rice," and local high-end rice has extremely high post-harvest processing standards. The actual drying results after the project went into operation—from grain integrity and color appearance to quality stability—all meet the quality requirements of high-end rice. SHINCCI's integrated drying system integrates the full-process equipment of wet material silos, dryers, heat pump heating systems, and dry material silos, completing everything "in one go" from grain intake to grain output, allowing good paddy to be dried into good quality.

In the rice drying season, choosing the right equipment is key. SHINCCI's dehumidifying heat pump drying technology ensures every grain of paddy is dried with confidence and dried to quality!
